If you like watermelons, then according to Statista, Americans consumed more than 14 pounds of watermelon in 2020. It has been a popular dessert around the world for centuries.

What is more, watermelon does not have enough protein, carbohydrates, and fats to satisfy the needs of your body.

Watermelon diets are often advocated as being cleansing, too, but eating it alone does not remove toxins.
