Arsenal held their own after three games with an uneven 3-0 win over Bournemouth that showed the huge difference between the Gunners and the newly promoted side.
The game appeared to be over before 15 minutes had elapsed thanks to two early goals from Arsenal's Martin Odegaard.
First, he completed a rebound after a sensational collective play that began with a thrilling run from Gabriel Jesus.
Minutes later, Odegaard completed a ball that entered the box thanks to the, in a Ben White cross from the right.
Arsenal centre-back William Saliba scored the best goal of the afternoon with a winding second-half shot that slid into the top right corner.
After a slow first half, Bournemouth picked up some pace but Saliba's goal ended all hopes as the Cherries suffered a second straight shutout defeat after a 4-0 defeat by Manchester City.
Arsenal are top of the table and, along with Manchester City, are the only perfect team in the Premier League.
Man City play their third game of the season in Newcastle on Sunday.
